Who do I see?
Pharmacy First
Pharmacists can give treatment and advice for a range of conditions without having to make a GP appointment or obtain a prescription. This service is called Pharmacy First. Conditions they can offer prescription medicine for are:
- earache (aged 1 to 17 years)
- sore throat (aged 5 years and over)
- sinusitis (aged 12 years and over)
- urinary tract infections (UTIs) (women aged 16 to 64 years
- shingles (aged 18 years and over)
- impetigo (aged 1 year and over)
- infected insect bites (aged 1 year and over)

Urgent Appointments
Please remember we are not an emergency service or walk-in centre.
- If you have symptoms of severe chest pain, breathlessness or stroke symptoms or in a life-threatening emergency, call 999, at any time of day or night.
- For urgent medical queries, call 111.
- GPs are not appropriately trained to deal with dental problems. This covers toothaches, abscesses and problems experienced after dental treatment (including prescriptions for antibiotics). Please call your dentist or 111, or follow the link: dental health for more information.
Cancelling your appointment
If you need to cancel an appointment, please either:
- fill out the form
- use the app
- call the surgery
- cancel via the text reminder
Should you need to re-book your appointment, please call the surgery.
Please try to give us as much notice as you can when cancelling an appointment, so that we are then able to give the appointment to someone else.
Cancel your appointmentCompleting an Online Consultation
If you would like an appointment with the GP, you must use the link below to submit an online consultation. It will ask you some questions about the issue you wish to discuss, this will then be triaged by a GP, and you will be contacted within one working day . We do try book the majority of patients on the day, so please make sure you are available on the day you submit an Online Consultation.
Online Consultation opening hours are 8am to 6:30pm, Monday to Friday.
If you have additional needs, which means you are unable to complete the Online Consultation, please speak to reception, who can complete a version of the form on your behalf.
If you need an appointment (such as smear test or vaccinations) with the Nurse or HCA, please call the surgery to book an appointment.

If you require a home visit, please complete an Online Consultation via econsult or please call the surgery as soon as possible and reception can submit a form on your behalf if you are unable to complete the form yourself.
